There is an ever-growing variety of benefits to becoming a TSA member.

Member companies can enjoy the benefits of profession-wide recognition and stay up-to-date with the latest professional insights, guidance, and technologies.

But what benefits are there for clients of TSA members?

Committed to high standards

TSA has a strict membership vetting procedure, with an accreditation process that ensures our members meet specific criteria.  Using a TSA member will ensure your project gets off to the best possible start, involve a survey professional at the very beginning and reap the benefits.

All companies applying for Full. Associate and Affiliate Membership undergo a lengthy and robust application procedure. The application requires companies to provide a complete picture of their areas of work, staff qualifications and experience, three work sample projects supported by documentation to show survey methods, references, financial information and more.

A sign of expertise

All TSA members are experienced in various survey methodologies, data collection techniques, and data analysis, so you can be confident in your selection of TSA member for your geospatial survey needs.

Geospatial profession excellence

TSA members have access to online and in-person resources, sharing the latest news and updates on best practices and innovations in the surveying profession and beyond.

TSA provides its members with regular updates, news, and insights, helping them stay informed about changes and developments in the surveying sector.

Members can engage in continuous learning and development through TSA’s programme of seminars. Aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of practising surveyors, it includes free business improvement seminars as well as large events twice a year to look at new and emerging technologies and discuss issues affecting the land survey profession.

A supportive network

Members of TSA have access to professional support, whether in the form of mentorship, guidance, or assistance with challenging projects. They also have access to resources, tools, and technologies related to surveying which leads to more efficient and effective survey projects with better outcomes. So you can be assured that, whatever challenges your project may present, your surveyors will be supported to ensure they get the job done.

CCD (Continuing Company Development)

Full and Associate Members take part in a scheme to actively make their businesses better and are identified on the website here. TSA are keen for member companies to demonstrate that they are maintaining awareness of current law, trends and technology and ask for businesses to provide a CCD return as a voluntary submission.
