The events held by TSA are often cited as some of the biggest reasons to join the association. Held at prestigious venues across the country, the AGM and the annual conference both combine incredible networking opportunities with training, knowledge sharing and inspirational keynote speakers.

And this time to Liverpool

TSA’s AGM takes place at the end of March (Wednesday 29 March) and is another example of great venue and thought-provoking speakers coming together. Hosted at Anfield stadium, the AGM is not only a chance to catch up with fellow members, witness and engage with the business of the AGM, but it will also be an exciting opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Alison Watson MBE. Ordnance Survey will also be updating members on the threat posed by GNSS jamming, and after lunch and a stadium tour, the eagerly awaited launch of TSA’s PAS128 utility mapping accreditation scheme (PUMA) will take place.

Offering something special

Rachel Tyrrell, TSA Secretary General explains: “We aim to ensure all our events provide something special to our members. We listen to the feedback after every session and look at what we can do to improve the experience for our members. I am really excited about this year’s AGM as we plan to cover so many interesting and essential topics throughout the day.

“Having worked closely with Alison Watson over a number of years, I am confident that her session will give our delegates something to think about and hopefully galvanise them to take action to future-proof our profession. In addition, the launch of PUMA is another step in raising standards within surveying and should help position our members at the forefront of underground utility surveys.”

The AGM opened for registration earlier this week and has already over half full. If you would like to register to attend, please email office@tsa-uk.org.uk
