Senior Utilities Surveyor
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced & highly motivated Senior Utilities Surveyor to come and join our team at Lucion Survey Ltd! This is a field-based role so you will be covering the South East area, but your nearest local office is likely to be our Milton Keynes facility. We are offering a competitive salary of between £35,000 – £45,000.
Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out Utility mapping / PAS128 surveys across a variety of industries and locations
- Identifying utility pipes and cables for verification, validation, and excavation
- Gathering data to produce mapping information of underground and overhead distribution and supply services
- Liaise with clients on site to determine survey requirements / best approach
- Clearance surveys for intrusive excavation works
The Ideal Candidate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility tracing and GPR
- Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
- Working knowledge/understanding of PAS 128:2014 specification surveys
- Competent in the use of CAD Software
- Experience in using total stations and GPS equipment to collect site information
