Land Surveyor, Utility Surveyor & UAV Pilot

We specialise in providing a range of surveying services including topographical surveys, measured building surveys, underground utilities detection, laser scanning, complex sewer measurements, structural health monitoring, UAV photogrammetry/LiDAR etc.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise topographical surveys using total station and GNSS technology.
- Perform accurate measured building surveys for plans and elevations.
- Map underground utilities with advanced detection tools.
- Operate laser scanners and process 3D point cloud data.
- Use UAVs for aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR data collection.
- Manage projects to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Produce high-quality drawings and ensure project deliverables are met on time.
- Follow health and safety regulations in all survey activities.
- Mentor junior team members and support their development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in delivering high-quality topographical surveys independently.
- Familiarity with measured building or underground utilities surveys is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, N4ce, Cyclone, Revit and Pix4D.
- Experience using Trimble Total Stations and GNSS, Leica Laser Scanners and competency using a variety of GPR units is desirable.
- Qualifications:
- HNC/ONC in Construction for the Built Environment or equivalent industry experience.
- CICES accreditation or actively working towards professional qualification.
- 2 A Levels (or equivalent) and 5 GCSEs (grade A-C) including English and Maths.

- A full, clean driving license.
- CSCS card.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
