Last week saw the return of our popular Business Improvement Seminars, kicking off with a marketing workshop, ‘Getting the Measure of Marketing’ held at the Jaguar Experience in Birmingham.
Led by our PR and Marketing agency, Zebra Marketing, the workshop-based seminar, the first of a new series entitled ‘Take Five with TSA’, provided attendees with insight into some of the ‘building blocks’ of marketing. These included how to write and issue a press release, craft a blog, and brief effective photography. The day was rounded off with a focus on digital marketing, with advice on how to keep a website easily updated and how to plan social media posting.
Zebra Marketing Account Director Maggie Austen and her colleague Kathryn Walsh, Communications Manager, steered the session, which was well-attended by TSA Members from across the country.
Following the session, Maggie Austen said,
“It was great how engaged all the Members who attended were with the content of the workshop. There was a lot to cover but I hope they found it useful and will enjoy putting some of what they learned into practice.”
TSA Business Development Manager Katie Holt, who attended the event, said,
“The day was great. It was lovely to see the attendees interacting with each other so much. We’ve had excellent feedback from Members and we are looking forward to running more sessions like this over the next few months in line with our stated mission to help Members ‘build a better business’.”
