This year, our Annual General Meeting is taking place at the home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone, and we will be racing into action on Wednesday 27 March.
This will be our 44th AGM and registration is open now for all our members to attend. We have an incredibly exciting day planned. Members must register with us and we will confirm your place, we are already approaching capacity.
Our AGM is a chance to catch up with fellow members, witness and engage with the business of the AGM. This year’s event combines incredible networking opportunities with team building and knowledge sharing.
With registration and refreshments from 9am, the meeting will then begin at 10am. We will then run through the AGM agenda points, which will include announcing Council and the winner of the President’s award.
Once the AGM has concluded we will be devoting the rest of the morning to the topic of survey equipment theft. Following reports of rises in survey equipment theft in 2017-18, we began working with SmartWater, now DeterTech, in creating a database of all thefts, attempted thefts and related crimes. DeterTech will be providing a detailed and updated report of where we are at now.
This year, as a new addition to the event, based on the feedback we always ask for, we will be providing members with dedicated session for networking and teambuilding activities.
Have you ever wanted to change a tyre in a pit stop, test your reaction times or parade victoriously on a podium? You will have the chance, with the afternoon being filled with exciting motorsport-themed team building activities. Teambuilding helps to build a bond between people, increases innovation, improves problem solving skills and collective motivation, as well as being great fun. Hopefully members will come away with a lot of new and useful contacts.
The day will conclude at 3:10pm with a roundup of the day and some insights into what TSA members can look forward to in 2024.
