Events

Our events portfolio is reflective of the TSA philosophy

We cover a representative range of subject areas and provide industry intelligence and information on key issues affecting our business.

The events we run enable members and a wider audience alike to gather relevant facts, discuss business issues with their counterparts in the industry, and learn from leading figures in the surveying world. We bring together people from across disciplines to share knowledge and compare notes.

Geo:influence

May 14 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Geo:influence – influencing the present, creating a future

TSA, CICES and RICS have worked together as the Survey Liaison Group (SLG) for many years. We are committed to working together to bring about real, lasting and tangible change in the geospatial profession.

Geo:influence is a brand new SLG initiative. The idea is to bring together all those who are committed to finding the answers and making progress for a variety of topics.

We will:

  • provide a time and a place to engage
  • network
  • hear updates on current initiatives
  • celebrate the success to date
  • eliminate misconceptions
  • ask questions
  • identify action
  • create a long-lasting programme of change

The geospatial profession offers within it many truly sensational careers and yet we are struggling to recruit, train and provide a qualification pathway for young people in the UK.

The first geo:influence event will take place from 10am to 3pm (timings tbc) on Wednesday 14th May 2025 at Dudley College, on the theme of education and skills. There will be minimal talking from the front and plenty of interaction and discussion. The aim is to work together on solutions and to empower attendees to act to improve the profession.

Save the date and we will be inviting key people and organisations who are going to roll up their sleeves and work together. If you are already on the same page, then please contact office@tsa-uk.org.uk to register your interest in taking part.
