The Survey Association & Survey School is always looking to protect the health and safety of its staff and visiting Students. The UK Government’s advice currently is to continue business as normal and therefore we currently remain open to deliver courses, that is until such time that the government advises otherwise.
We do understand concerns about travelling in such uncertain times and will respect the wishes of any course attendee (or attendee’s Company) who feels unwilling to travel to their course. Where a course has been booked and the student wishes not to attend, we will endeavour to move the Student to the next available course or one that is suitable for the business needs of the Student or Student’s employer.
If you have any symptoms of illness that could be associated with COVID-19, starting with a fever but including headaches, a new persistent cough or other cold and flu symptoms then please do not travel to attend a Survey School Course.
The Survey School provides anti-bacterial liquid hand soap and will be providing tissues in all classrooms from next week. Additionally, would all students and visitors to the Survey School refrain from handshaking at this time please.
Public Health England recommends that the following general cold and flu precautions are taken to help prevent people from catching and spreading COVID-19:
• cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not
your hands) when you cough or sneeze
• put used tissues in the bin straight away
• wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser
gel if soap and water are not available
• try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
• clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
• do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not
clean
If any Student has recently been in a country where COVID-19 is a significant issue (currently China, Iran, Italy, South Korea but this is likely to change week-by-week) please let the Survey School admin team know so that we can risk manage appropriately.
