About Newcastle University
Newcastle University’s Geospatial Engineering group forms a key component of the School of Engineering. It is research led, encompassed under the themes of Geodesy, Earth Observation and Geospatial Analytics and Modelling.
The Geospatial Engineering group run industrial and professional development courses, undertake consultancy, outreach and knowledge transfer work. Staff in the group coordinate and teach on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, which together produce approximately 40 geospatial engineering specialist graduates per annum. The group also leads the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Geospatial Systems.
