Our 2025 events calendar for members is taking shape. The first Council meeting of the year takes place on Tuesday 28th January. Council members are elected for a three-year term and once this is complete they may stand again or choose to stand down. Nominations to stand for Council will be invited from Full Members from Monday 3rd February. If there are more nominations for Council than places available, an election will be held in the first two weeks of March and the results will be implemented from the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Health and Safety seminar
Our regular Health and Safety seminar is scheduled for March. More information on the date, venue and content of this important session will be available soon. Keep an eye out for details.
Keeping our eye on the ball….at Wembley
Last year, our major member events were more popular than ever, with the highest attendance recorded so far at our AGM and our Conference. Teambuilding, networking and learning in the incredible setting of Silverstone and the British Motor Museum proved to be a winning combination with TSA’s membership.
Wednesday 2 April will see our first major event of 2025, with our AGM taking place. Last year’s AGM was held in Silverstone, the home of British motor racing. This year, we are taking our event to Wembley Stadium, the home of English football and one of the most iconic football stadiums in the world.
3-2-1, activate!
Once the formalities of the AGM are complete, which will include a session on the Winning Behaviours ‘actions you see on a daily basis’, we will have a tour of the incredible facilities the stadium has to offer. Later, we pool our skills and resourcefulness to take part in a Robot Wars teambuilding exercise. Inspired by the original BBC Robot Wars series, this challenge will involve building and customising machines before they compete in a purpose-built arena to become TSA’s Robot Wars champion. This exercise promises to engage, inspire and excite!
