Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Sales Consultant for the Mobile Mapping portfolio, you will play a crucial role in maximizing sales of Trimble’s market leading mobile mapping solutions, including hardware, software, and associated professional services. You will receive support from KOREC’s in-house technical experts and collaborate with our regional sales teams to identify and cultivate opportunities across the nation in this rapidly expanding sector.
Building strong customer relationships is essential. Our sales approach is collaborative and consultative, aimed at helping our customers achieve their highest potential.
Note* – This position is a national role, requiring the successful candidate to manage responsibilities and clients across the entire UK. The role may involve regular travel throughout the country, ensuring consistent coverage and engagement at a national level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving revenue for mobile mapping sales, hires, and professional services nationwide
• Achieve monthly sales targets for revenue and gross margin
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan
• Identify, nurture, and close sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
• Conduct demonstrations of Trimble mobile mapping solutions to potential users
• Balance management of existing accounts with proactive prospecting
• Maintain accurate records of activities in our CRM system for effective forecasting and reporting
• Adhere to Health and Safety processes to protect the interests of the business, employees, and customers
Requirements
• Experience in a sales role OR experience of working with surveying and mapping technology
• Strong desire to advance in a sales environment
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Valid driving license
Desirable
• Knowledge and experience with Mobile Mapping technology
• Previous experience selling into the Geospatial sector
• Familiarity with Trimble Geospatial technology
• Degree-level qualification in Surveying/GIS.
